thedud3
When I load up my FNV with NVSE or the Launcher I get into the game and the title screen, but... nothing no menus such as " Continue, New, etc." I don't know why it has happened but I think it is to do with messed up textures. If anyone has any ideas I'd be willing to try them.
n0t0ryczny
Sounds like you're missing two text files in your data folder; Credits and CreditsWacky. Game doesn't work without those. Another solution is to check if your .ini files do not call upon (missing) external fonts. Open Fallout_default.ini in installation folder and look what is listed under [Fonts].Default looks like this:[Fonts]sFontFile_1=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Monofonto_Large.fntsFontFile_2=Textures\Fonts\Monofonto_Large.fntsFontFile_3=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Monofonto_Medium.fntsFontFile_4=Textures\Fonts\Monofonto_VeryLarge02_Dialogs2.fntsFontFile_5=Textures\Fonts\Fixedsys_Comp_uniform_width.fntsFontFile_6=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Monofonto_VL_dialogs.fntsFontFile_7=Textures\Fonts\Baked-in_Monofonto_Large.fntsFontFile_8=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Futura_Caps_Large.fntsFontFile_9=Textures\Fonts\NVFont_Test.fnt If your file contains something different, check those folders to confirm that the files really exist. maboru
Try verifying your cache again, it should reinstall the fonts even if you use a mod that changes the load screens. (In which case it might be a good idea to deactivate that mod too.) Edited July 29, 2011 by maboru

No I found out what it was by disabling the mods that I had activated, because it was working before, and it turns out it was a conflict with CFNVW & FOOK (even though I had the compatibility patch)
maboru
Happy that you worked it out, I had to disable FOOK, pending a 1.4 update because it started conflicting with too many of my other mods (thought it just might have been me though!)
