Marxist ßastard
Nobody is sure of how computers work? Ha! Poppycock! The only way that a brain could be compared to a computer is if you compare the human mind to a 386 running Windows 3.1 -- barely sentient and full of glitches with incredibly poor memory management and almost nonexistent communications capabilities. Magatsu
The weirdest thing ive dreamed is that i was fighting a man with swords in my neighboors garden and he stabbed me in the chest, it felt so real that the moment i woke up i was literally fearing for my life. i was bleading from my nose so when i saw blood it REALLY freaked me out. Stormscape
You wanna talk about scary dreams? ok...ELEVEN DAYS before 9/11, I had a dream. In the dream, I remember two brothers, one called Peace and the other Hope. I saw the death through the eyes of the killer. I knew my name though. And my name was "War Machine" to some, "The War Monger" to others and "Death" to most. I can never forget that dream. Akrid
Maybe they where testing the bells and because you where day-dreaming you didn't hear them tell you to ingnore them. Then just to mess with your head other classmates told you they didn't hear bells.
ohGr
right now, its 1:09am in australia, melbourne, and saying these dreams i constantly have wont help, ill say'em anyway, i never get any sleep. it started around month ago, its like a repeating dream, where i wake up, and see a inverted cross carved in my wrist, in the dream, it still feels warm, and is still bleeding, and when i get out of my bed, everything flashes before my life, for some reason, i get to see everything that has ever happened in my entire life, and because of this dream, i remember things back to my birth, i used to see a counseler on this dream but he didnt help, so ive grown to live with it, but i feel they they get more serious each week, its gone from the good things n my life, to the bad things, then the supernatural begins to happen, random things float in my room, and drop on me, and normally go through me, like im a ghost, then i die for some reason, and wake up, although, when i wake up, i get so paranoid, i put the doona over my head, and lay face first in the pillow, and in the mornings, i check corners and everything, sometimes after that dream, my whole room has been re-arranged, bed, chair, desk, but fortunantly, it stopped a few days ago, so now i can live in peace. Akrid
I never want to go to australia that place sounds freaky :o I think dreams relate to real life in a way because of our sub-conscious. Heres my theory, and it's just a theory not a thesis or report. The sub-conscious always takes in info from our enviroment. Everything we know is stored somwhere in our minds. We (our conscious) forgets most info and it is left in cold memory storage. Our sub-conscious does not forget and will recall any relevant piece of information when triggered to; Like say you see a bee for the first time and it lands on your arm, you don't care untill it stings you. Now lets say five years later another bee lands on your arm. You have forgot what it is because it's only the second bee you have ever seen and amoung all the other bugs you forgot all about it. But you still smack the litte f**ker because your sub-conscious relates bee to sting and it a automatic reaction. Now heres another exsample, but explains how the sub-conscious could predict the future; You need to go to the store the next day. Your car broke. It snowed and rained. Your bikes breaks broke about three weeks ago. You tend to ride your bike on the left side of the street. You often drive the bike through a puddle of water on your way there after it rains. Now You have a dream about riding a bike and loosing control and falling. You wake up and get your bike because your cars is broke and sure enuff that same thing happens than in your dream, same place. You always had the information to predict this but your conscious didn't put it together. Now understand that the sub-conscious can remember the smallest factors like your bikes left peddal was slightly more loose than the right once. With enuff little pieces of info there might be a way to map out your whole day. And you could even dream of somthing big happening because the signs are real there the pieces of info floating around all over the world that you don't realize are being deposited into your memory bank, in a savings account.
