CxxProphet
What kind of laptop are you using? Does it have a dedicated graphics card? If it's dedicated, then it's highly advised that you don't try to add an ENB to your Skyrim which means you don't need to install ENBoost. ENBs are generally very resource intense and hogs a lot of your GPU due to all the complex shadows and shaders they use. A definite no no if you have a dedicated graphics card. ----If your GPU can handle most ENBs out there, then try this: What you should do is delete all those files and start over, also look into what ENB you want to use, then download the ENBoost version it requires to run on. You don't need 305 unless you plan on using whatever ENB requires 305. I personally use ENBoost v279 because I use Real Vision which isn't compatible with v305. Use this https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/enb_management. It's specifically for ENB Management and it's easier to understand than the Beginners Guide and goes more in depth. It will also show you how to actually activate the ENB which requires Java. Edited May 21, 2016 by CxxProphet
Deleted34781260User
That may be one issue, I am not entirely sure what my Graphics card can handle. Perhaps that is creating some problems... Which makes me a little upset because I was looking forward to playing Skyrim with ENB...
CxxProphet
Go to My Computer and look up the System Properties. it will tell you what your laptops specs are and whether or not it's a dedicated GPU. Though it's most likely integrated, only gaming laptop have a dedicated GPU, regular laptops like notebooks use integrated GPUs.
Deleted34781260User
Since this was a normal laptop, I am going to guess I will have to wait until I am able to afford an actual Gaming Computer before I can run ENB.
Ondrea
Maybe I'm misreading what you've done, but it looks like you've just added the entire wrapper folder contents to your Skyrim folder. You don't want to do that. The only files you want from the wrapper are d3d9.dll, enbhost.exe, and enblocal.ini. Ignore all the other stuff in the Wrapper. You'll have to configure the enblocal.ini depending on your system. Look here for more information. These files on their own typically give a boost to performance. If you're wanting to use an actual ENB preset to change how your game looks visually, then you'll need additional files, which varies depending on the preset author. The files from the wrapper won't have any affect visually. You'll need to browse through the Nexus ENB preset section for that. Stick with a simple one to start that will just add an enbseries.ini and enbseries folder in addition to the files you downloaded above. A lot of the ENB preset authors offer detailed instructions on installing it. The Grim and Somber author has some pretty good details on how to install the right files correctly. Or do a specific search for a performance-friendly ENB that may potentially work for your laptop.
Deleted34781260User
I can run Skyrim now! I do not see any difference in the graphics however, but at least my game is allowing me to go to the main menu and load saves. Thank you, Ondrea. Deleted34781260User
Now the only issue I have to figure out is: Attempting to get Real Vision or any of the other ENB things to work... So far, The Grim and Somber ENB's aren't activating. I'm using the "Azura" one, but my game looks just like vanilla skyrim. I switched to v0.305 to run Jyggalag. Still no graphic changes.
