Fantafaust
A Skeleton race would be nice, all the mods I've found for them are kind of buggy. For whatever reason when wearing something like the basic iron armour their upper arms either disappear or turn to human arms. The reason for this,Invisible arms: the armor replaced the arms and didn't supply any, because they should be there, except you're a skeleton now.Human arms: the meshes for these armors include arms, and it replaced yours. There's not much I can do about these issues besides redo every armor in the game, and every armor mod too, and I don't have that kind of time nor patience. Sorry man. Fantafaust
UPDATE: Much progress has been made thus far, though I am still working on Revenancy and my main spell mod, neither of which I will upload until I feel they are complete. However, I have included links to Collect Bodies and Suffocate in their names on the original post. Just click them and it'll take you to the pages. The original post has been updated extensively with my progress, color-coded for easy navigation and understanding, and spoilered so you don't have a huge mash of text to sort through. Please feel free to continue to request, and I will continue to field requests I think are reasonable and fit with my sensibilities. I'm still iffy on the ritual thing though. :P
NinjaWarriorPoet
I've always thought a Sacrifice spell would be cool. Maybe a Sacrifice self, but that's really just a re skinned equilibrium. The thing I get stuck on is I think there should be a way to sacrifice someone else for a boost in Magicka. Preferably it wouldn't just be a drain spell, but you'd have to immobilize or subdue your victim, or perhaps kill your follower. Something that gives a big boost on death, so you could easily cast spells a rank or two above where you should, but it's difficult to pull off. Basically Soul Trap that feeds your Magicka instead of a Soul Stone.
Fantafaust
I can't remember where it's from exactly(Ordinator?) but there's a mod that adds a spell that lets you destroy a corpse to gain a boost to conjuration. A spell could be made that does the same, but instead of just conjuration it's magicka in general. My Revenancy mod(not yet released) has a lesser power that allows you to temporarily trade a large amount of magicka for health, if that's of any interest to you.I could make it so that my Sever from Aetherius spell also boosts your magicka by some amount for a short time, so if you successfully strip an enemy of his magicka, you get some in return.Food for thought. Thanks for the idea :)
pyrotx
Personally I Would love to see something that isn't often done in necromancy. Most games just have you raise a zombie or two, but that really doesn't give the player much variety or much to do. Being able to create chaos and customize your creations would be great for a necromancer. First l think of multiple minions when I think of necromancy. Second I would love to see an infection system where targets that are injured by your undead automatically turn and join you. Also I think the most fitting ability would be to mass mutate any average skeleton or undead into a new type of undead, like a bone man from the soul cairn or something new you make yourself with unique abilities. Also I think each type of undead vanilla or modded should have a unique infection ability, when an enemy has successfully been infected and dies, based on the type of enemy that infected him, the player gets various perks or benefits. For example, if a draugr belonging to the player infects a target and kills it, the player gets an immediate shout cool down, and the player passively gets a cool down reduction for the shout timer for each draugr the player currently controls. This is just an example for what one type of creature's effects would be. Overall necromancy should make the player feel like they themselves are benefiting and are not just forced to sit on the side lines. Each creature should make it seem as though the necromancer has gained power, perks, or maybe even costs. In my example, the player would be able to participate in the fight with shouts and feel more empowered.
NinjaWarriorPoet
That's cool. I like how that sounds. I was thinking about this now, would there be a way to have a spell only work on someone who's immobilized? So you could cast Calm, Paralyze or a new necro-spell to stop them (maybe call it Bone Cage), then cast Blood Sacrifice (Soul Trap for Magicka, and make them take extra damage from you and from daggers), then you go sacrifice them and get powered up. Difficult, complicated, and powerful. Just thinking..
NinjaWarriorPoet
I really like that addition to Sever. You have to work it out, but if you do, you get your magicka back.
Fantafaust
I've added such functionality to Sever, so long as whomever you're Severing has more than 150 Magicka(likely a caster). Successfully Severing them gives you a permanent 50 point Magicka boost. This can be done ad infinitum. That's cool. I like how that sounds. kevorkiandoctor
A spell that is on a that hits a target and if the caster's magicka score is higher then the targets the target dies and comes back with the follower on the template and considered "undead" for the purpose of any other spells. It should require you to have a Black Soul Gem to cast (like the Dust Athronoch spell) or the returned undead is frenzied.
Fantafaust
I've not yet abandoned this, but I didn't want to put too much work in everything since hearing about the remastered edition, which I now have. So now it's porting my current work, then continuing to finish everything up.
