Oblivion Graphic Extender v3 PROBLEM!

Hi guys! Im very sad here :(

 

Few days ago i've installed oblivion, and fullfilled it with trashy mods to see which of those i liked.

 

When everything became a mess i decided to reinstall totally the game, deleting the previous files from mods, to restart the modding process.

 

As first mod i wanted Oblivion Graphic Extender, cause i love it!

 

so i did this:

installed Oblivion and Shivering Isles

 

patched both to latest official version

 

placed in Oblivion.exe folder the files

obse_1_2_416.dll

obse_editor_1_2.dll

obse_loader.dll

 

installed Oblivion Mod Manager v1.1.12

and wrye bash 293

 

after that i've placed OBGE_Core-30054-3-0-1.7z and OBGE_Standalone_Effects-30054.7z in ".../Oblivion Mods/Bash Installers"

Installed the core with wrye bash, than selected the standalone effects (and the 00_core and godrays) pressed install...

 

after that, the games does not run, simply. It crashes before even thinking about running. That's making me sad

 

can anyone help? its for sure something really noobish im missing...

did you point your desktop shortcut to obse_loader.exe instead of Oblivion.exe?

 

yep if i run normal Oblivion.exe it runs, with the obse_loader.exe it crashes before running! :ermm:

 

i correct myself, after installing OBGE, neither the original Oblivion.exe works

i don't have one in the folder, this is the latest back up i have of it....

 

three days ago i was able to run it with obge, and it was working fine! i remember something about a "directx 9.0c" related .dll to place in the oblivion.exe folder, is that correct? because i've tryed to search info about this, but couldn't find anymore, bad lack of memory!

to be able to run the vanilla oblivion i have to reinstall it, already tryed, the problems come just after the obge install

 

yesterday it was working!!! after total uninstall and re-install it dosent! :psyduck:

 

ah, i have installed directx 9.0c previously
