grieferion
So I was thinking about this today, since there already is a Big Daddy Power Armor in progress from the looks of it, maybe someone could do a Big Sister suit, from Bioshock 2. http://imgur.com/a/QmHb3 And I was thinking that maybe they could give some kind of mobility bonuses - like running a bit faster, jumping a bit higher, moving normally underwater. But IDK if that kind of thing is even possible or easy to do. Anyways, just had the idea and felt like putting it here :3 Maybe some modder likes it, idk. It's pretty lore breaking, but oh what the h***. xD Anyway, what do you guys think? :
CoreyN11388
COuld always use a slimmer, curvier frame like from NAVI to get it to fit the look better
grieferion
I was thinking about it more like a Hazmat Suit instead of PA actually  And I guess that harpoon/bayonet thing would have to go on the right arm, because of current game limitations (?I'm not sure if that's why, though). I see a lot of potential in this idea, I think it would be a wicked set of suit/armor/weapon n_n I'm biased, though. Edit: I was thinking something like this: That third image (Eleanor's) -> That white suit could be kind of a diving suit alongside the boots, the gloves and that collar. I do think this should be only one item, the base suit. Then in the second and third image -> All of those straps and metal plates could be the armor. Having then the legs, the arms, torso and even perhaps gauntlets. Also the helmet, which could already be part of said "diving suit".That cage could be turned into another tank, or maybe a sort of backpack. There could also be weapons, like a Big Daddy's drill, or even a harpoon launcher of sorts, kind of like we have in Bioshock 1 and 2 (I think.) I know it's quite a lot of work from the 3d designing standpoint and it's likely nobody's gonna do it. But I truly believe there's a lot of potential (suit, armor and weapon) in this idea and it could even be made lore friendly, given that underwater exploration will probably be a thing in some people's mods - or maybe even a DLC, who knows, right? grieferion
I'm not quite sure I'm allowed to post after myself here, I do hope this does not count as spam. I'm doing another post to avoid making the last one too big and discouraging people from reading it.I was thinking a little bit more about this today and maybe what I'm about to say makes no sense, but just in case it does, here it goes: So, the drill thing, I was thinking, making the animations to spin must be a pain in the.. head ._., but maybe it is possible to improvise using the gatling gun's animations? Or the mini gun's? I know that then it wouldn't be exactly a gauntlet drill, but from what I understand, animations are a pain to be made and it would still be a close call! And given that Far Harbor already has kind of a harpoon launcher, I guess that's one less problem, right? Also, maybe having the helmet glow only when in combat would be cool. Like maybe it is some kind of enemy tracking system :3 IDK, I'm sorry, guys. This is not a popular idea, I know. Just got really excited about the possibilities and kind of wanted to pour it in here and see what you guys would think about it xD

VokunGrohiikDovah
I found this post because I wanted the very same mod. I'd start working on it right here and now if I could get 3dsMax to install, but I've had problems installing it every time I've tried. And then there's the problem of me being better at modelling weapons and objects, not organic shapes like bodies and clothes, and then there's actually getting it back into Fallout when I can't seem to get my models into nifskope... Seems there's no hope for this... Edited October 27, 2016 by VokunGrohiikDovah

Seems there's no hope for this. Don't use 3DS max. Use Blender. Export to OBJ from Blender (3ds will change the object orientation). Open Outfit Studio. Import the OBJ. Scale the OBJ to 0.1. Load Reference shape from NIF (or CBBE default). Right-click on your shapes and copy bone weights. Delete the reference object (I usually have to do a rename of the reference before it will let me). Export to NIF. You now have a weight painted NIF from OBJ. Just don't use 3ds unless you have the NIF plugin and are familiar with using it. I tried, and it was complete rubbish. Blender is better - and it is free.

If I could get body models into Blender, that would be sooo helpful since I prefer Blender anyway. And as for the parts about Outfit Studio, I've never used it before, but from what you say, it seems like I can skip Nifskope altogether, which eliminates the problems I was having with it completely. Thanks, and I'll give it a try. Also, for this post. I saw an image about a month ago on Nexus which was a WIP Big Sister suit. I think it was by the guy who done the Submersible Power Armour, so that's underway.Link to the latest images: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/56001/? The latest version does, any way. The method I suggested is the one that I use. It works.
