Sorry for long title want all have an idea issue having. Basically and this probably sounds weird but I multitask all the time so I try and run everything in a window. The problem having is mainly during talks but does every now and then when moving around. My mouse is activating my taskbar to where the tabs are highlighting and lifting up to show the tiny windows and then it moves over the window and everything goes clear but that window. Now I know that's what windows does my question is is there a way to stop the mouse from doing that and when I'm playing fallout that the mouse stays in that window. I have never seen this before in any other game that "locks" the mouse to the game screen. If need to I could screenshot or fraps a video showing it if don't really get what I'm trying to explain it. Like title says I'm running Win7 64bit and my fallout is GOTY edition. Need any other information let me know. thnx in advance for any help can give.

Starlyte - Hello!

I've never used Fallout 3 in window mode but a couple of things you could try are:

Go to your taskbar, right click on it, select Properties.

In the window that comes up tick Auto-Hide the Taskbar. This should make the Taskbar move off the screen when not in use so hopefully you can't accidentally select it.

Or, if that does not help, you can turn off the feature you referred to by going to the same Properties window & unticking "Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop".

Hope this helps!

You could also try this "mod": Fake Fullscreen Mode Windowed

It won't really make your Fo3 windowed but instead allows you to use alt-tab to switch between FO3 and any other windows you might have opened instantly. (you can even play FO3 and FONV at the same time with it) Just make sure to sync your FO3 game resolution with your desktop resolution.
