Marcus Wolfe Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 Hey, I had a thought today.What if we....changed the lounge a bit? nothing wrong with the format, but........(puts on French accent)THE BACKGROUND, SHE MUST GO!!!!!(turns off accent) Maybe we could tinker around a bit. Put in some images of couches, and fire places, maybe even put in some lizards!!!OK, that may have sounded dumb, but here's a better idea:We should have some sort of 'newspaper' type thingy. It would have comics, crosswords, sports, GS news, a gossip column, global weather, international business, movie reviews, book reviews, game reviews and real world news. Marcus, ignore his tone. However he has a point. If you want lounge lizards, you can invent them. But please make sure they are of interest to the forum as a whole and not just to you. Nothing to prove, besides maybe the fact that I enjoy yelling at people. The point is I'm tired of stupid people thinking their stupidity is acceptable, because everyone is too polite to tell them. If they never get yelled at, they never learn that their behavior is unacceptable, and never feel any need to improve. In this case, it's someone with a history of making pointless spam post after pointless spam post. He either: 1) Is obsessed with increasing his post count and making sure everyone notices him. or 2) Doesn't have the self-control to refrain from posting every random thought that pops into his head, regardless of its intelligence or whether anyone would actually want to see it. Nah, I could never find a guy like that.Perhaps it would be some sort of emoticon, but I do not know how to make emoticons unless somebody teaches me.......Well, I still think the news paper is a good idea, but it would be in the hands of the developers, not me.
