Sypron
You'd have to look around in the fraps options, or change the resolution of oblivion too 800x600. Try (in fraps) changing the output quality too.
Olurum
You're better off googling for 'video compression' or 'frag movie compression' etc... since there are many sites devoted to making videos from ingame. Mostly these stem from FPS games therefore the term 'frag' movie. One solution is to try getting hold of a program called VirtualDub (it's free), load your AVI into VirtualDub and go Video -> Compression -> and choose a codec (depending on what codecs you have installed on your pc). ffdshow / xvid are very common ones. You then have to select your bitrate when configuring the codec options. Usually a bitrate of 2000kbps to 3000kbps is needed to get a decent size to upload it to places like youtube. Those bitrate ranges offer a good balance of quality vs size. But movie length in the end dictates the size mostly. Once you have selected the options, just go File -> Save as... and the compression will start. Oh and just to make things more confusing... if you have options of how many 'passes' when selecting bitrate, select single pass for the least hassle. Double Pass and so you'll just have to google up help for since I feel my explaining all this may not really help you as well as others could. Or instead of Virtual Dub, you can use Windows Movie Maker to compress AND edit your movie. Although people prefer other programs to edit and compress since Movie Maker seems to limit you a bit on options. Movie Maker is good though for those only just venturing in the movie making world. But instead of listening to my sub standard help, you should really google for a dedicated help site. :P
Povuholo
You can also set the framerate of the movie in FRAPS before you record it. The lower you set it, the smaller the file should be.
