i like how Thors AMD 1100t is a 7.5 where as uberness is a 7.6....also uberness has 16gb of RAM for a 7.6 and Thors 4gb is a 7.5 lol

also there are quite a lot of 1100Ts out there :D

1100T is a good, cheap multicore CPU. more than enough for most users and games. Also, mine may score higher as it is overclocked to 4.0. As for RAM, the WEI probably tests for latency, rather than just full amount. He may have a higher frequency/lower latency than mine, especially since I'm waiting on my next set of Vengeance memory. Really though WEI is not the best source of judging a pc.

Thor, make an ssd your boot drive, it's lulzy how fast it goes. :D My machine starts up, and as soon as I'm logged in, it's ready to go. No waiting time whatsoever. And I'm running a slow-ish ssd.

I'll be the first to admit Intel makes a faster CPU. But the difference in speed does NOT warrant a difference of over $800. Heck, even Bulldozer CPU's, with up to 8 cores and 32nm tech, are only going to be $300 or so.

Thor is running the hybrid HDD, the Momentus...says he loves it....i know cause he talked me into getting it.

faster then a 7200 and a 10000rpm HDD, and not too much slower then an SSD
