Slaytounge
So first of all, in order to tell if my computer is good for gaming or not, I would need to know what all my specs are. Where can I find these? And Once I do, I'll post them and see if you guys think my specs are good enough and what I should improve in order to play games on high settings. This has all come down to me being forced to play The Witcher 2 on low specs when I can play Crisis, Mass Effect 1 & 2, and more on medium to high settings. Now I'm worried my computer won't be able to play Skyrim full specs which simply cannot happen.

Slaytounge
Alright now that I have all the info on my PC, what should I list off?
N3C14R
Take a screenshot of the main page or you could just list your cpu, gpu, ram, motherboard and hard drive specs.

Slaytounge
Can I have specifics of what I need in order to play say something like The Witcher 2 with full settings?
hoofhearted4
google "canirunit" its the first link. it will tell you what you should upgrade, though i think it takes into account minimum requirements not max...but try it out. as for your RAM, 6-8 gigs of 1333 or 1600 a quadcore CPU @ 3.0 roughly. and your mobo should coincide with whatever CPU you wanna get. intel or AMD, new CPUs or older ones. hoofhearted4
examples: RAM:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231426 AMD CPU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727 (obviously you can go more expensive, but that will be fine for you...an 1100T is the best AMD CPU right now, for under $200) Intel CPU (for comparison):http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 (you can go cheaper for sure, but this is one of the better intel CPUs out there, its comparable to the AMD 1100T) AMD motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131734 (worth noting that this AMD board is an AM3+ socket, meaning you could upgrade to the AMD Bulldozer, the newest CPU by AMD, which isnt out yet, in the future) Intel motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157230 as i said, prices range for everything. if you go with an AMD CPU the most youll spend will be $200. intel CPU, and you neednt spend anymore then the one i listed. same for mobos. those are the cheapest you should go. going more expensive will allow you to have more pci-e slots, meaning a second Gfx card in the future, the ones i listed only support one Gfx card. the most you should have to spend to upgrade all these would be roughly $300-$400 and as stated, there are cheaper routes possible and alternately more expensive routes possible, but these upgrades would let you play games on high settings for a while to come :) Edited August 5, 2011 by hoofhearted4
