hoofhearted4
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130608 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130604 they both have 2 PCI-3 x16 slots, so they can both be used in SLI (which is what i need) they are both AM3+ boards (obviously) which i also need. they seem to have roughly the same number of ports, USB 3.0 6gb/sec and all that. i dont see any reason to take the $160 board over the $105 board. unless you guys can spot a reason, i think i just saved myself $55!!! EDIT: oh hmm. i guess they $105 doesnt have two 2.0 x16, its a 2.0 x16 and a x4. soo the 970fx it is i guess. darn, thought i saved myself monies lol Edited August 6, 2011 by hoofhearted4
Thor.
My opinion Please stick with Asus, they are the best Motherboards on the market today. Msi is ok but the last one had nothing but problems. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813131637 Better reviews to  Edited August 6, 2011 by Thor. hoofhearted4
i wont get an Asus board. ive had nothing but issues with Asus. ive bought two of their laptops, and on both laptops, there was an issue on the motherboard after roughly 6 months. might have been bad luck, might have just been that series of laptops (both laptops were the same) idk, but theyve lost a customer because of it. Draakon
From those 2, I go for the later one due to better memory bandwidth, but I won't choose any of them since there is a better one from Asus. I will see if I can find it for you.
