Waveord
After running into a few problems with FOMM and NVSE, I sleuthed that these problems occurred because I am missing the .exe file for FNV. I've tried both the reinstall option and the uninstall option, and neither has restored the missing .exe file. I'm trying to install the game from the disc, and I'm not sure why the .exe is missing in the first place. Any help would be appreciated.
maboru
That is odd, try going back online to Steam and verify your cache. That really should work
Waveord
I tried that, and apparently, Nod32 has been blocking Steam from actually downloading the files. I'm going to disable Nod32 and try again; hopefully that will work.
Waveord
Yep, that did it. Thanks for the help.
maboru
Happy to help. But I don't know that I'd want to run without my anti-virus for long. I'm not familiar with Nod32 but I use AVG for my game rig, Norton for my laptop and McAfee for my server and each of those has an 'exception' function that you can set to allow certain programs to download, maybe Nod32 does as well. Might save some trouble.
