Hickory
You see, that is precisely the kind of information that provides no help whatsoever for somebody (who knows nothing about your circumstances) trying to help you. At the risk of repeating myself, I say again: what does 'a couple of chests of items' add up to? What I am trying to determine here is how many items, exactly (not vague answers), are in your inventory. You see, Oblivion's engine has a limit to how many items it can display in any one inventory. Moreover, this is exacerbated if you have repaired lots of items above 100%. In effect this will give you the impression that items are missing if you have a great deal in your inventory, when in fact they are still there; just not displayed. As for my spoiler, it is working. You must have javascript disabled, or some other feature that's preventing you from opening the spoiler.
bardathe111
Let's begin again. I have one complete suit of armor, one weapon of some kind, 2 rings, 1 amulet, 8-10 pieces of loot MAXIMUM (I carry no more than this before i return to a store to sell it or put it in my homes), and gold. With the exception of the quest items that aren't appearing in my inventory this is all I have. Moreover I would like to add that when the time comes to use the items I can, in fact, do so. However, this is a problem with things like the Blade of Woe which I must equip to use during the associated quest. As for the mods I will put them up briefly. I also failed to mention that my loot is almost never armor or weapons because i do not generally use the generic ones. Hickory
In that case it cannot be because of excessive items. That makes it more difficult to determine what is wrong. Here is what I would try -- do NOT overwrite your save game after (if) you try this method. Remove all of your items from your inventory into a safe container that does not respawn. Make sure that you remove everything. Once you have done that, open the console and type: SetQuestObject xxxxxxxx 0 <--- ( xxxxxxxx == ID of the amulet you are having problems with )Player.RemoveAllItems Now use the code to give yourself back the amulet and check your inventory. Is it there?
