NikhilR
Hi,I've made an island off Leyawin (in the middle of the ocean) simply by raising the ocean floor and I put a tree atop it.I used Tes4 Lod gen afterwards. When I stand on the coast (from where the island should be visible) I can only see the tree floating above the waters surface with no land beneath! If I approach the tree, the island pops in all of a sudden, If I back out it disappears.Something to do with LOD's I'm guessing, how do I generate LOD's for a specific land mass in the Tamriel exterior worldspace? What am I missing here? NikhilR
Have a look at this tutorial on Landscape LOD. Thank you for replying, Yes I read through the article, especially in this para,In the Heightmap Editor window, go to File --> Generate LOD The island I've made is in the tamriel worldspace (along with elsweyr and a few castles) can I generate LOD for just the island without having to generate LOD's for the whole of tamriel (for the article mentions it takes a long time to generate LOD's for all tamriel)? Would the LOD's i've already generated (or added by mods) be overwritten? Would this cause problems? (though in the CS I have only oblivion.esm and my plugin file active.) NikhilR
Okay I managed it, but my overview window is the construction set (when you open the height map editor is completely black ( though you can see the heightmap in the editor window.) This makes navigation across cells difficult. Is this a bug? Nevermind, solved this myself, please refer (regenerate overview window section) at this linkhttp://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Heightmap_Editing#Main_Menu Thanks Hickory.
