Veronar
Thank you for responding. I have a main idea of the main of the sanctum, the begging quest and a large amount of the cosmetics. I just wrote those out here, including a write out of a faction storyline. I have a basic idea of it, a number of things I am not sure of, but I was hoping that you may wish to partake in it's creation. Anyway here is the beginning quest, origin story and faction quest. Argonian sanctum mod for Skyrim. Breton Mage helps argonian slaves escape and teaches them of magic. One of the argonians he teaches to refine their natural affinity for magic is an old shaman who creates an order of his lost brothers who focus upon the old ways of the shamans tribal magic. The Breton Mage along with the order created a sanctum for those who find it. the work and beauty of the sanctum is of the order, the entrance and such of the Breton magister. The entrance: To enter the sanctum, one must tune their magikal level to that of the sanctum, which is done with. Specific gem. This gem can be found within an old burial chamber far in the mountains, and to escape the wrath of the gem, one must make conduct with quick-freeze, a specific potion designed by the Mage for those he chooses worthy or stumble upon this artifact and have found out this ritual. Quick-freeze is a rather popular concoction, as it's ability to contain eat and let through magical energies is essential in the harvesting of energy through ingredients without the use of apparatus. The ritual: All that must be one is one must wet the bare hand and hold the crystal. That is all. The entrance to the sanctum is then granted through the Same passage as to the burial chamber. The sanctum: The sanctum itself us fueled and controlled by the shamanistic order, who protect the sanctum from outsiders of harmful intent. They welcome their root brothers and root sisters with ope arms, as they are then welcome to live within the sanctum as they please. They may choose to become of the order as well, but this is a hard road to follow for those unprepared. The Breton Mage who began the order through his teachings still resides within the sanctum living his days teaching the acolytes of the order of the basic and advanced principals of conventional magicka. Those of the soft skin are allowed to rest within the sanctum, if they can prove their benevolent intent, and still even with this, they are closely watched. The sanctum itself is actually a hollowed mountain, melted ice and snow heated and regulated through the orders magicks. All the species that resde within the sanctum are brought or summoned by the Breton Mage, who wishes nothing more than his dream of the sanctum to be fulfilled. He sends men and women who ally with his cause to rescue and transport argonian slaves to the sanctum from wherever they find them. A large majority of slaves are still found within the darkened chains of slavery held by the dunmeri, if those, at least, whoh ave survived the volcanic explosion on mainland vvardenfel, and the bloody war with Black Marsh. Many of those Dunmeri still left with the province reside upon The isle of Solsteim quite close to Skyrim. The shamanistic order also planted the sacred hist tree within the higher chambers of the sanctum, where the spring waters flow from. The quest: A missionary of the sanctum has been killed and you have found a map and a note explaining his mission, high upon the mountains. You look around and find the missionary's tent, a female argonian named keel-en-ja who's brother has fallen sick, and needs to be brought straight to the sanctum. You must take them to the burial chamber fight the guardian and use the quick-freeze to complete the ritual, the argonians in hand. You meet the old Breton who started the order and he thanks you for helping the slaves. He permanently attunes your magic signature to the sanctum, very uncommon for soft skins. (If you are argonian, he offers you to join the order and attunes you, an acolyte for a Mage, a warder for a straight fighter stealth would have to be of the shadow seekers, a renegade argonian faction within the sanctum whom only it's members and the old Breton know of, the order oblivious due to his cloaking magic. ) The faction quests: Shadow seekers: InitiateSteal specific gem from the shaman order Soft scale Collect hist sap moth ash and hangfish oil and get a shaman to create the potion. (tis illegal within the sanctum rules....) Rally a resident argonian of the sanctum to join as an initiate of the shadow seekers bribing gathering items or murder or persuasion. promotion Hard scale Ally +Promote the new initiate and order him to help you with your contracts. Gather and hideGather a number of items and gain responsibility of the shadow seeker elixir recipe and prototype. Steal informationSneak around the orders encampment ( the shamanistic one) gather information of a New formulate then follow the gatherer to the hist springs and see what he does nearby. Help rallyHelp your soft scale to rally a new initiate helping him with his choce dependent on yours in the past quests. Promotion Claw Promote Your soft scale now is to be promoted to hard scale, and is to promote his intiate when he achieves hard scale and so on. You may give him orders from time to time, but he will be of use in the quest chain as well. LearnYou must learn the skills of a claw through training and requests of your teachers. StealYou need to steal a number of materials off the shamanistic order, which will be in use to mass produce the recipe for the seeker formula that you hold. Gather these items from their encampment. Gather the feathers he placed there as well. TrainLearn the skills of your master. ProduceBring the recipe to the shaman who you asked to create the prototype as a soft scale with the recipe. Take the final seeker elixir to your master who will then reward you. After he asks you to drink it. If you got the feathers, you master will give you a pouch of powder before you go. Use it with the elixir out of sight and get a reward later. If you did not he will ask you to do it now. If didn't get the feathers, he will take the elixir and give it to you after he puts powder into it without you knowing, and then ask you to drink it. TrainLearn the skills of your master. If you completed the last two quests fully, your master will explain to you how to ally the shaman to the shadow seekers through dialogue choices. Or just tell you how to drug and persuade him through ingredients. You choose which method he will tell you. AllyReturn to the encampment of the shamanistic order and speak to the shaman who created the elixir for you. Either drug him with the activated ash moths spores and persuade him. Or just persuade him through dialogue and speech craft. If these fail, you could just knock him out and drag him out of view "persuade" him and make him agree. Search his alchemical work area and take the elixir sample. Once he has agreed to join the shadow seekers you must return to your master who will then reward you. If you are caught, you must speak to your master as soon as you can, and he will sort this out for you if he likes you. If he doesn't, he will not act, and residents will see you as a criminal and -10 or 20 disposition. Train Learn the skills of you master, and show him the vial of elixir. He will take it and put an amount of powder into it if you drugged or knocked out the shaman. He will tell youth confront him with it the next day, and to bring him here. RequestSpeak with the shaman of the mass production of the seeker elixir. If you drugged him, he will disagree. Show him the elixir vial that you took from his alchemical area, he will take it drink it and try to fight you. Either through a cinematic or at a hp point within the fight he will collapse, dying. You take him to your master, and he will cure him. (Due to the fact that he is argonian preventing any form of poisoning, the powder will activate the elixir into a magical effect that was seen on the shaman, your master will explain this to you when the shaman leaves) the shaman will be very grateful that you saved his life, and agree fully to joining the shadow seekers. After he leaves, you question your master on how exactly he caused the poisoning of the shaman, and not you when you used the powder with the elixir (if you got The powder, if not, you will just ask how he poisoned the shaman) he will respond by telling you that it was a magical effect, as poison would be useless with an argonian, and say that the powder activated with vial material to instill that effect within the elixir, and if he did give you the powder he will say he drugged you during the training session, just to see if the nullifying agent was not fatal and worked. he will laugh, and train you. TrainLearn the skills of your master. Continue-requestTake the raw materials that you stole from the encampment and go to the shaman and ask him to craft vials out of these materials. He will agree, request an amount of money for the service. Return in a day. He will give you an amount of vials, and tell you to return in 6 hours, when he has set up his equipment. Return and give him the vials. Ask him to create the elixir, handing him the shadow seeker elixir. He will agree, saying that it will take time to gather the nessisary ingredients. He will ask you one thing, which is to gather an amount of hist sap from the springs. Bring this to him, and return in 3 days. ( he has set up within a cavern above the soft scale hard scale initiate facility) return to your master and he will train you, and teach you a spell of invisibility. ReturnReturn to the shaman, who will give you an amount or crate of the shadow seeker elixir, and return the recipe to you. He will thank you once again for saving your life. Return to your master with the elixirs, and he reward you and promote you to sharp claw. Sharp claw First missionYou are asked to join your elite in an outsider mission. Feel free to ask any questions, as i have left an amount of reference out of the post. Edited August 8, 2011 by Veronar
3WINTERS
It's great to see Ideas for personal stories already in the works. The good thing about games like TES you are free to leave your mark amid a constructed world. If more people are thinking like this, great story addons will come quick. ub3rman123
Argonians overran Morrowind and possibly freed the slaves in Skyrim's lore.
3WINTERS
the thing about personal imagination and story telling is that it doesn't have to fit lore. Even the actual game is open enough for us to put our own personal thought processes into what, why, how things happen. Right from the beginning you create your own reasons for having ended up in prison

Deleted472477User
this looks very interesting! I might have to roll an Argonian just to do this one :) I know it's not a requirement, it would just be cool.
