So I have my .dff file set up I made it using GIMP. The problem i'm having is I clicked in the GECK fancy lad snack cakes to edit it and replace the box with my custom .dff

But I realized it's a .nif file so I have the .NIF of the fancy lad snack cake box.nif in nifskope it shows up as a White box my question is how would I go about putting my .dff onto this .nif?

Sorry if it's been asked I couldn't find anything on this and doing the food is a bit different then re texturing armor and weapon's thank's in advance.

I don't know if you have fixed the issue by now but here is a quick guide.

With any texture replacement load your nif in Nifskope, click on the area you want to add the texture to then look at block list to see the highlighted NiTriStrips.

Drop this to see BSShaderPPLightingProperty, drop this to see BSShaderTextureSet.

Highlight this then go to block details and drop the textures to see the dds files that make up the texture set.

Alternatively, if your not worried about any additional attributes you could simply use the GECKs Texture Set option which is pretty straight forward and follows a similar technique with the same layout - _d 1st, _n 2nd, _g 3rd etc.
