frodo321
i just have some ideas about some graphical tweaks... to begin with the water... i loved how the water looked in F3... but in NV it's almost just a flat green... how about adding a bit more reflectivity to the surface...next is the fire... it would be nice to add the light distortion effect like the explosions with incernator have... and the last idea isn't just a tweak but... environmental shadows... i'm not shure if that's even possible to do in FNV but it would look awesome... although my computer might get a huge FPS hit... Environmental shadows are not possible with this engine. The only things that can cast a shadow are creatures, NPC's and, the player. Well there was a mesh that simulated the shadows from the treetop canopy in FO3. (it used in the Oasis worldspace.) The sun will just shine directly through all models placed in a worldspace. This is why (most of the time) when you enter a building it is in a separate "Interior" space where the lighting can be controlled. chuck
