Thasic
I am playing around with changing the race of some modded npcs and I keep getting a mismatch between the faces and the bodies of the characters. I have tried checking the 'may be any race' in GECK and altered the bloadfacegenheadegtfiles=1 line in the ini files but still no go. Any suggestions as to how to correct this issue? maboru
When that happens to me quitting the game and toggling archive invalidation in FOMM brings them back to normal. (Remember to uncheck it, close FOMM, reopen FOMM, check it back on and restart the game.)
Thasic
Thanks for the reply, but no good. Still have a mismatch.
maboru
You were using Configator right? Make sure you have 'Invalidate older files' set to 'On' (under "General"). As a matter of fact, check all your Configator settings, I've been noticing that every three or four sessions somethings been over-writing my Configator settings to default and I have to re-enable my preset to get back all the settings I changed. likeitsillegal
Do you mean severe differences? Or just off-shades between the head and body? Like the body will be just a little darker than the head, but noticably so? If that's the case, this is an issue with a few mods themselves. Thasic
Maboru, I already have the 'Invalidate older files' set to 'On' in Configator. likitslegal, not just shades but an African American NPC has dark facial tones and white body. maboru
Oh well, when it happens to me that always fixes it (another case of your mileage vary!). It's a mod conflict then, so let's see them again and try to figure it out. [i'm sure you verified your cache in case it was a corrupted or mysteriously disappearing file.] [Are you using Body by Race by any chance?] Edited August 13, 2011 by maboru
