scytze Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Hello nexus As i am new around oblivion and oblivion modding i like know few things from previusly mentioned programsWhen i intall mobds via TCS (tes construction set) in File - Data tab i am not allowed to make more then 3 files "active files" as i press "set as active file" someone of my old files status becomes Plugin file again? Or are you trying to add them to the actual editing process?In the TES Construction set, you only activate the mod you are working on.Case in point.I have mod I am working on called Test-1In the CS (Construction Set) I would just activate just that mod. And since this is for the game Oblivion, the CS would automatically activate the Oblivion.esm. (That would be the master file that my "mod" modifies.)<If this next part confuses you or does not apply then ignore it.>If you have a mod has a master/slave configuration (two files to edit, one modifies the other) then you just activate the slave and the other file (along with the Oblivion.esm) will be automatically added.Hope this helps.
