Vashmanseven
I have been playing oblivion for nearly 5 years at this point and I just can't get by all of the slutty armor mods any more. I am a man and I enjoy playing a character that is as well, it's called role playing and i'd rather not pretend to be a hooker in the middle of cyrodil. That's just my 2 cents, meaning this is my opinion, so any people who get their willies in a bundle over their super skanky female characters, take that into consideration. I am not against female characters, i merely think that people should make tasteful armor for them and stop with all this half naked BS. Real women (who arent strippers/walking a street corner) don't dress like that, and even in a fictional environment, do you really think women are gonna degrade themselves and dress/act however men want them to? Come on people, in the next 3 months that people are actually gonna be playing oblivion b4 skyrim comes out i'd love to at least one tasteful female armor mod and for that matter at least one new male armor mod. Damn it feels good to vent =D
micalov
No one is forcing you to use them, what other ppl do with there install is there business, it does not effect your game  Want more mods to YOUR taste? then learn to do some blender work/nifscope alchemy and make some. VictoriaG
Heard it all before, if you don't like a mod just move on to the next one.
NAPALM13092
People are going to mod what they want and sex appeals. Between all the people turning their game into an interactive fashion show don't expect the trend to change. That being said people are well within their right to mod anything they want regardless of peer opinion. People want to make a skin tight vampire bikini they are going to to regardless of what you, me, or anyone else has to say about it. I personally don't really care people can turn their Oblivion into playboy pinball for all I care. The only thing that irks me sometimes is the sheer ratio of mods we see for every quest mod we get 9-10 BBB HGEC (insert something related to swimsuits, anime, or vampires) and I hate having to dig though it all just to find those occasional gems buried under it all. I don't care that they exist I just wish they didn't dominate the site and drown out a lot of quality stuff. So yes I see where you are coming from to a degree but that is just the way things are and I wouldn't expect to see them change anytime soon. It's an up hill battle and not worth arguing about the loud majority will turn any discussion about it into a flame war and the mods will come down on it like flies on s***. I have yet to see any thread about this subject get anywhere constructive so at this point you mine as well suck it up and get real used to using tag searches to find things like the rest of us. chronosmagus
The biggest issue I have with those mods is that because of the amount being released, It has become quite difficult to find 'normal' and 'fitting' armor and clothing. Perhaps a tag system, or even category, could filter them out. Either way, it has been discussed many times and seeing it's a big part of the community, we'll just have to deal with it. Cercueil
I actually kinda agree. True, if you don't like a mod, don't use it. But there are many armours that would be so cool is they'd just been a little less slutty. Since I'm a girl, i don't give a flying f*ck about wether females 'hot'. And I suck at pretty much anything computer-related (it's a true miracle that I can install mods without blowing things up, really). So, making mods isn't gonna work for me but I do like giving my char awesome clothes so that's why I really dislike the enormous amount of sluttyness on the site. Balakirev
I'm afraid I don' t understand the problem. If you want to play a male who wears armor, search in the Armor/Armour category, with a description that contains the word "male." That should avoid everything you don't like. On the other hand, if you simply don't want people to use mods you don't like, just don't think about it. The horrors of people enjoying the mods they like that you don't won't affect you, then. Ghoulz
Well there's still plenty out there that aren't trashy. Be thankful for that. You'll spend a long time looking through everything though....

I once had a male char, just for laughs, that I wanted to bless with pretty armor, but since male is in female as well, you still get tons of sluttyness when you search for male xD
