bernout1
What mods were you using? All of the mods were from the Witcher Nexus and some I used at some point through my first playthrough: CEO (equipment overhaul)Hot DicesPanel TweaksReturn of the White WolfIntro Logo Removal Did you try it without the mods? No. I suppose I could try that tomorrow just to see what happens. Most of the mods are cosmetic and if there is a problem it's likely from the CEO mod. My impression however was that just tweaks some data files to change equipment attributes. (Sorry, as most users are NOT encountering this problem, don't you think that may be a more likely cause than the game itself?) It's possible I suppose. I thought it was unlikely just based on what the mods were doing. Also, I am not the only person who has encountered a save issue like this. If you do some Googling you'll find others. I have all my save files. If anyone is interested and ambitious enough I'd be happy to provide them. Bernout
dragonbird
Did you update the mods to their latest versions after updating the application, or just reinstall the ones you had already? Changes in the data structure in game version 1.3 meant that a lot of mods had to be updated. I haven't seen anything specific to saving, but I know that at least one of the ones you listed (Panel Tweaks) causes major problems in the meditation screen (potion making) if you try to use an obsolete version. (Yes, there are others having this problem, but as a percentage of the total number of players it's probably very small. If this was affecting large numbers, the main forums would be full of it. Please don't think that this means I'm dismissing your problem as trivial. Anything that stops you from playing the game is serious. But I tend to be an optimist on such things - if very few people have the problem, it increases the probability of you being able to fix it yourself rather than wait for the developers.) swordsman5
It might have been worth trying a new game from scratch, there might be some flaw in the save that carried over from your previous install.

Most of the mods I believe were updated to support 1.3 and I know for sure that the Panel Tweaks mod was one of them (that's a great mod BTW if you haven't used it...the default inventory system was lacking). I just tried the save files with a non-modded 1.3 and had the same problem. Bernout
dragonbird
I'm starting to agree with swordsman5 - try a new game, see what happens. If you have somewhere you could post a savegame, I'd be happy to try it. (And yup, Panel Tweaks is a fantastic mod. And I found out the hard way that using the 1.2 mod with 1.3 game messed things up).
