%USERPROFILE%

Hi,

all I can tell you that %USREPROFILE% is a Windows System Variable, it contains the path to your Users Home Directory. For example on windows 7 it points to c:\users\yourname.

Looks like for some reason Oblivion cannot resolve this and therefore creates that directory. This could be a Problem with your Windows Install but without sitting at your PC Iam not able to help much further.

One thing you could check, open a command prompt and type cd %userprofile% and see if you get redirected to your user directory. If you get an error, something is definetly wrong with your Operating System. If that works ok, the Problem is more likely Oblivion.

Hope this helps a little bit

Alfred

Try opening an elevated command prompt and type in:

rd /s /q "<path to your oblivion folder>\%userprofile%"
