Man I loved Tessource, and the overall easiness and accessibility of it. That would be my only suggestion. Make file browsing a bit easier and have each entry fill less, its very hard to find things now if you go for something really specific.

In fact, I would even say copy the old design and leave out the legal issues (Or whatever caused the breakdown)! It simply owned every site.

Otherwise I'll just have to get used to it I guess, and having the search bar on the right and the blog'ish look is the "2.0" style so I cant complain, I'm just not fund with it personally. The forums look better than before though, really a nice job and the same for the coding. ;)

Cheers.

-E And comments of course, they're about just as important as the mod info itself when picking mods.

I have had my internet connection cut for the past 39 days, and when I got it back today, well, I was in for a surprise. Had to google tessource to find out what happened to it. Glad things worked out though, and let us have a drink to this new and reborned Nexus!

Glad to see the new site is up. I really respect all the work you have put into this, but i have to say that the old tessource interface was a lot easier to navigate. The interface is kinda strange. I really liked the way the mod list displayed on the old site. It was easier to read and to navigate, whereas the new site is kinda layed out wierd.

It was also really nice to be able to click on latest files and have every file on the site from the most recent to the oldest available to browse through page by page rather then restricting us to 5 pages like you have right now. I was then able to look through the mods pages by page until I ran into mods that I have already seen. This helped to make sure that you never missed a must have mod.

anyway, glad to see the site up again.

Lets just get right at it.

The "File search" could have been better with things like:

-Allowing you to actually see what you type in.

-Search author name.

-Search part of description.

I suppose the search now only checks the headline?

What is Morrowind, what is Oblivion, what is both "if possible":

-when people upload a file, they should choose for what game the mod is meant for. Then eventually a logo between the name of the upload (in the list) would tell others what game it was made for.

Shout box:

Under the Poll, I would have preferred a shout box, where everyone could type in a message, chat, tell their opinions or whatever. And you can scroll trough the last 15 messages.(You know what I mean)

Also, I think too much info is displayed when scrolling trough mods in the list. They should show much less info, so you can see more mods on the screen at the same time for faster reading. Also, I would prefer like 16 mods or so on each page, so you wont have to click next all the time.

All this is just suggestions, but I would love if you could use any of this in the feature.

oh, I forgot... Off course you can choose what game u upload the mod for. (that is where I got the idea) What I meant was that it would be nice with an icon of oblivion or morrowind with the mod on the list, so u see what game it is for.

(This is a problem when using the "All files Category" in search.)

Hi there!

Im completely new to this site and I have registered to tessource just days before it went down. I apologize in advance if someone has already mentioned it, but I just wanted to make a quick comment about how there is no page where you can view all files from all categories and both morrowind and Oblivion at once. I'm saying this because when I found this site I started going through every single file on that page starting from page 600 or 800 or whatever it was at that time and I managed to get to page 130 at the time the site went down and I was hoping to somehow get back on track and finish the files I missed. It would be great if someone would be kind and spare some time to point me in the right direction via e-mail ro a PM or something (as I said I'm new to this site).

P.S. sorry for making you read this long comment

Firstly, I very much appreciate all the work you've put into what is, I think personally, the best mod site out there.

TES Nexus rocks.

But I do have one single tiny complaint...

Maybe it's just me, but having the navigation links on the right side of the page instead of the left side, where they usually are on just about every website I could possibly think of that I've ever seen, is downright nerve grating.

I know it's not a big deal (maybe I'm just too used to "normal" webpages), and I probably shouldn't complain, but it seriously almost makes me get a little twitch in the corner of my eye every time I come here.

Sorry to sound like a jerk, but I just had to get that little pet peeve off my chest.

Whew.... :P

It would be very useful if we could sort results by downloads and Rating.

At the moment sorting by downloads is helpful, by rating is okay but a more useful third option would be a 500 downloads + Rating or some combination of the two. That way 1 vote (by the author or a friend) doesn't send a mod to the top of the list above truly popular and often downloaded mods.

Thank you for reading and best of luck with this new venture.
