I am trying to update my oblivion game to the latest patch, but it keeps stopping because of this error. I have the regular game, and the shivering isles expansion installed. HeyYou Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Do you have game of the year edition? If so, then you don't need any other patches, as you should already be in the right spot. MarkInMKUK Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Further to the above If you have the Steam version, it'll auto-updateif you have Impulse or D2D - they have their own patches available through them.If you have a No CD hack, then that will stop the patchIf you obtained the game elsewhere, check where you got it from. I have the GOTY edition and all you need to do is install it, and the latest oblivion/shivering isles patch is already in the files, so no need for any patching.
