TheTerminator2004
True, but even so, it'd kind of spoil the mod a bit if you have to press escape to avoid it... It may, of course, turn out that the logo is added by the player, and is not part of the file. Therefore, if you play it in Oblivion, you wouldn't get the logo, but if you played it in the free bink viewer, you would. I don't know anyone who's ever got one in-game, so I don't know how it works.
ThePriest909
Video.bik files can be triggered in game through any script and they have nothing to do with logo videos... You can even use a different folder. ....data/video/myquest for example.
TheTerminator2004
What we meant by logos is that if you play either an unlicensed .bik video or use an unlicensed player (not really sure which), then it automatically adds the Bink video logo on the end (Bink being the name of that type of encoding). So you'd get the video you made, but when you play it, at the end it will add the Bink logo on the end, which would rather spoil the immersion. I have a feeling it may not happen if you play it with Oblivion (If you play it with the free bink player it will), because I once played a NWN mod called Elegia Eternum (or something like that) which had a video, and as NWN uses .bik videos too, that may mean that the logo appearing depends on whether the player is licensed or not, rather than the file. Oh...It doesn't happen in game... (Remember - main quest ending video)and non of my tests shows anything like that...2 videos are allready added and they both work fine... :)
TheTerminator2004
Really? That's great! I've been wondering whether it would work or not for ages, but I've never had a chance to test it to find out. Well, I'm doubly looking forward to this mod now :) . I think what he meant was: will you add new meshes and textures? Not just rename/rezise old creatures/NPC:s?
