Armor for Males? and Females?

funny link i found that pretty much describes 90% of mods available here in terms of female outfits

having to wade through em all is pretty tough lol but 10% that is more of the in-game fit finds are satisfying

Yes, it's a funny video, less for the writing (which isn't too sharp) than for the performances and concept, which are great. :)

 

I don't think that describes 90% of the female armor here, but then, why would there be "standard female armor?" There were no women in combat in the European time period very generically imitated by the ES series. Women very occasionally led armies strategically, and some led counties, duchies, baronies, and even kingdoms, but the lack of upper body strength during a period whose combat required it worked against them.

 

So I guess you could say, realistic European armor of, say, the 15th century was all about men. But as this is a game, it doesn't really matter. I'd never run an armor mod that included futuristic or anime style outfits, but if others want to, that's their choice, and more power to them. :)
