Is Oblivion modding taken over by perverts?

I'd like to look cool and awesome in cool and awesome armor rather than looking like a sexy girl while playing Oblivion. I don't mind playing as female characters, but the mods here at the tesnexus oversexualize them so much. Rather hypocritical since no one released a "prostitution animation" mod where you can actually look like you're, you know, doing the actual deed with all these "sexy" female models (there's a mod like this for new vegas, was removed, guess someone was mad, eh hem, u mad brah?)

 

Almost all the armor mods are now for the new "sexy" bodies with ginormous boobs. I don't know, don't call me gay, I like sexy female bodies, but I mean, really, I play Oblivion to look all big and badass as a male character (since I'm male), not to be some female with ginormous boobs and ass.

 

I remember back in '09 or '08, there were some remnants of awesome-looking male armor left. But now, modders just make armor for those "sexy" female bodies, no more armor for the default male bodies, or the unsexualized default female bodies. In '10 and '11, the tesnexus page is COMPLETELY transformed into a sexy 3D female model gallery. Would be super nice if you were a girl with big-boobs and big-ass envy. Or a guy who likes to beat it to naked 3D female models in a game. But I'm none of that so my luck ran out with the Oblivion modding community.

 

Seriously, if you have sexy models, make sex animations, otherwise they're useless.

 

If anyone can link me a bunch of bad-ass looking male armor, it would be nice (and I thank you in advance if you do this for me), because now, I can't find them in the heaps of female armor on the nexus. It's like finding a Blue Whale in the Pacific Ocean.

it'd be cool if you can link me to a mod that gives me "prostitution animations," that'd be nice too to make use of the sexy models and armor for the sexy models that I see on every single modding page in every category of the tesnexus. Doubt one exists, but what the hell, just mentioning. Makes the game more realistic you know? What free-roam game that's good DOESN'T have sex in it? (lol, GTA series, hands down, sex all the way, wish the tesnexus female bodies were imported into GTA IV)

He also helped with Lost Paladins of the Divines (search it, there's a 2.0 version and some music packs if you'd want those). From looking at his profile, there's only one female only armor mod, but the rest are both and look really cool.

 

You'll have to deal with the female mods. Its what most people like.

I think what he's saying is, if you're going to make something, it'd be cool if it served a purpose beyond eye candy. For instance: brothels, interactional animations between NPCs and players, etc. would add a lot of immersion to the world.

Not everyone likes spiky heavy-duty armor that makes you look like a muscle-macho. If you don't like it, make your own mod. If you like "interactive" sex then go play redlightzone or whatever.

Oh and btw I think the revealing armors are "cool", so that's one vote against you already bud, that makes your vote null already.

Most people play "swords and magic" ROLE-PLAYING games so that they can act out as the "hero" they'd want to be, not the hot and sexy person opposite to their sex to arouse them. I mean, you'd say no to this statement if you have never seen a girl naked before...or if you're really really horny, and your country blocked off all porn sites...or other reasons.

 

There are 3 categories of player types, that also have subcategories that I won't mention, in "swords and magic" games, and the equipment that the characters wear better emphasize their type. Strength, Agility, Intellect. Strength = big armor, big swords, etc. looking "strong" and AWESOME! Agility focuses on skin-tight armor, speed, and such, that's when the sexy bodies come in? Then again, i'd rather not be aroused when playing as my extended self...Anyhow, for intellect, you have staves, or daggers or crap weapons that don't do much since your main weapon is you, and your fireballs, lightinng, heals, and whatnot.

 

I'm more of a strength guy, big armor, big swords, axes, etc. So you can see why I'm not a fan of hot female bodies, and more on the buff males and burly armor. Furthermore, as I've said before, I wouldn't even download hot female bodies if i was an agility person since I'd rather not be sexually aroused when playing as my extended self in a game.

 

Then again, I'd download hot female bodies if you can do more than just have them as eyecandy. As a male gamer, I believe that in-game sex plays a large part in the game's immersion (like by holding hands in Fable 3...but really, that's just a dumb way to add immersion. Now the hot coffee mod for GTA SA...that's something). I think some female gamers believe so as well, but what do I know...

The Nexus is overflowing with female companion characters; male players can play male characters and have female companions in sexy armors, thus maintaining their heroic manliness.

There are way more male players than there are female players. Still, when all the Hot Files are skimpy female armours, it doesn't feel like a very friendly site. Try tag searching on the Oblivion Nexus.
