mitchalek
I hear some voices of the past where some people actually asked for a mod that would guide your crosshair on moving targets. If such mod exists would you use auto aiming? If yes, what would be your expectations of working mechanics?
HeyYou
Nope. Auto Aim might work for projectile weapons with a high velocity projectile, but, not for bows/crossbows, as, by the time the arrow/bolt gets to where the auto-aim was aiming.... the target won't be there any more...... I prefer to lead my targets myself, and take 'em out that way.
mitchalek
But what if I tell you its possible to predict your target's position if its moving at constant velocity?
HeyYou
But what if I tell you its possible to predict your target's position if its moving at constant velocity? Do NPC's actually do that trick?? :D Nah. I didn't like auto-aim in FO3 either.... Guess I am just a 'purist', or 'someother-ist'.
okokokok
I want the same targeting system that you find in fable 3. Aiming in oblivion is to much work.
Unlimitedrevolver
I would use it.It would probably make using the bow an option for me as I normally don't use it on moving targets because I can't aim fast.I wouldn't want to use it if it made you automatically find a target after right-clicking though, that would just be too easy. Blacckkfire
Auto-aim destroys the purpose of marksman. I want the same targeting system that you find in fable 3. Aiming in oblivion is to much work. Ohh poor you, you have to aim and shoot, it is soo horrible! Edited August 17, 2011 by Blacckkfire
Deleted1848331User
A slight auto aim might be, one that you still have to aim to magnetize kinda where you shoot. If you play Halo you know what kind of auto aim I'm talking about. It's very hard to hit your friends but a little easier to shoot enemies. You still have to aim, it's just that it makes it really hard to shoot allies with.
