NPC Goodsprings Dialogue

Hello, was playing my game recently and a new problem seems to have sprung up. For some reason certain NPCs (mostly all non-named ones, the ones that just say things like "Hey there." without opening dialogue), start saying Goodsprings Settler dialogue, like "If you're looking for supplies head over to Chet's" or things about Doc Mitchel, etc. Now I can ignore this for the most part, but it's affecting my Willow Companion for some reason (even at the bottom of the list via FOMM) and some NPCs (Andy the Ranger). rePopulated Wasteland adds those NPCs, but you should really look into reducing the number of mods in your load order.

Thanks for the advice, but stability isn't an issue for me. I can play the game for 6 hours straight without crashing, though I do intend to merge some of my mods to reduce the amount of .esps being loaded. :tongue:

For those of you experiencing the same issue, ghost conversion NV revamped is most likely the culprit, to keep the armor but do away with the bug, download this mod and follow it's instructions: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51639/?tab=3&navtag=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fuser%3D0%26id%3D51639%26gid%3D130

 

This will remove the quest NPC and the buggy scripts associated with her that are causing the issue, and place the items in a box at Jean Sky Diving, note that the two variations of the rifle do not function, owing to them not actually firing a projectile on trigger pull. Hope this helps some folks!
