Captmorgan72
First of all, here are my specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 2.4 GHz2Gig RAMATI Radeon HD 3850 512 MBSB X-Fi Audio I didn't expect to play this game well but would like to know what could be causing this. Thanks. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n301/captmorgan72/witcher22011-08-1712-14-32-07.jpg
BarefootWarrior
OUCH! the ghost witcher! Just a guess, either a bad install and textures are not loading correctly, or your video card doesn't know what to do with the game. What OS? XP, win 7? Have you backed off on the settings on the video? I had this happen with one of my other games and it was a DX issue, had to install a newer version of DX 9 at the time, wonder if that could be the issue. I'll be watching this one, got me curious. Oh, did you upgrade the drivers for your video card? I understand that there are some minor issues playing with ATI cards is why I ask.

I did upgrade my video card drivers and I have XP home edition 32 bit. Forgot to add that to my specs. I am playing with everything at the lowest settings. My Direct X version is 9.0c. Captmorgan72
Hmm, problem solved. I found a driver that worked for me. The game is still slow as molasses in January, but that's because my computer sucks. At least I can play it.
