Captmorgan72
I am looking at this card, Sapphire Radeon HD 4650 Video Card - 1GB DDR2. My current comp specs is this: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 2.4 GHz2Gig RAMATI Radeon HD 3850 512 MBSB X-Fi AudioXP home edition 32bit I would have to upgrade my motherboard for pci cards that I know are better, so I am looking for a fast and cheap upgrade, that will hopefully bump me up to medium settings and better frame rates. What do you guys think? Would it help enough to justify spending a little over $90?
dragonbird
Hate to say this, but that's a downgrade, isn't it?The first digit represents the chipset, the second represents performance. A x6xx card is lower performance than a x8xx card. The 4650 isn't as good as your existing 3850. http://asia.gamespot.com/forums/topic/26760084 shows a direct comparison. Captmorgan72
Oh, wow, you are right. What's the best AGP card I can buy?
prandiningrat
You have already own the best card for AGP, ATI 3850 512 MB ,,if you need more powerful go to PCI-Express card...also dont ever upgrade to graphic card with DDR2, it's worthless even though using 1gb memory..
