jedimembrain
Most of the time this isnt a problem with a game .. Only console launches .. But I have been to the store a few days late and they were sold out .. I live in a mid/small sized city though .. The smaller your town the better off you are with stuff like this and as big as it is on the internet it seems like most of my friends dont even know what skyrim is ~_~;
GotMeFaded
Do u think ill be able to get it from gamestop the day it comes out? probably, but im just making sure You mean without a preorder? I would have to say yes, there is a 100% chance there will still be games available. This is because they stock up on units they reserved to sell as well as units to sell in the coming weeks. If you don't want to preorder, you still shouldn't have anything to worry about. But I would suggest preordering at least a day in advance, just so you can get the premium map. worm82075
Yeah, retailers will be aware of this game's insane popularity and order an abundance of copies.
SHIROryuu
I can remember a line up at EB Games... Forget the game, but it was the release day for WoW buring crusade I think... I've played a bit of WoW but these guys were serious. There were quite a few of them old enough to be my parents, and even one old enough to be my grandfather... Nothing wrong with it but they were lined up for like 25 feet outside the mall access to the store. I didn't mind waiting but it was certainly the most packed release I've ever seen. I never see that much hype for games. I've seen times when I couldn't get titles because I didn't preorder. Besides that one time I never had to line up. Maybe because I never went to a midnight release of a game? Yeah, retailers will be aware of this game's insane popularity and order an abundance of copies.Yes but there are times when you can't get more copies of a game. worm82075
Yes but there are times when you can't get more copies of a game.I guarantee you Bethesda will print plenty of copies. They shipped 4.7 million copies of FO3 on day one.

Tweetybird
Is there a reason why you cannot preorder a copy of the game and save yourself the hassle (or heartbreak, LOL) of possibly not getting one?

Ive seen enough "zero punctuations" rants to know the Australians are pretty F#&%ed when it comes to game availability in the first place .. so.. Sorry mate ;)
