Replaying Origins: Best mods?

Sup guys,

So I got that itch to journey back to Ferelden, and I was wondering before I wade thru the top-100 lists, if anyone has any suggestions for the latest, or coolest mod combinations to make it worth while.

My first (and only) time through was as a male Dwarven noble and it was awesome. Not sure which origin I want to do this time, but I know I want to make use of the brilliant mod work done here.

So what are the must-haves for a new play-thru?

Thanks!

@SirGrimbold;

The answer to your question is... It depends. :laugh:

Mostly, it depends on what kinds of changes you'd like to make: Appearances? Abilties? Additional characters? Awesome items? All of the above? Some people really like (or despise) certain styles of modding the vanilla game. Only you know your perferences.

That said, here's a link to a pretty large collection of lists various members here provided. Most of them discuss why they use the mods they do, so you can get a feel for the variety that's out there. (My personal list is the third or fourth.) The thread is a little dated now, but with the exception of the endless stream of different looks (for both characters and equipment) there haven't been many radically new mods for DA in quite a while. One brand new mini-adventure (released last week) is: Trouble in Rainesfere. Also the "Ser Cullen" new companion, and the "Quests and Legends" side-quest crawl are two that come to mind, although there are undoubtedly a few more.

"Player Recommended Mod Lists - Opinions".

Happy Modded Gaming! :thumbsup:

its been awhile since ive used the mods so i cannot remmeber the names, but Winter Forge was a good one, make your own enchanted items.

the best part was is that i can find a mod armor or weapon i like, and put my own enchantments on it.

i used a mod so i can put unlimited stats into myself (i put them all at 100 plus whatever i got from lvling up) so i was near invincible, found a mod to make it harder then nighmare, and then played the game with just me (human noble rouge...my favorite) Alistair and Dog. a true Grey Wardens quest. lol plus i had a ton of mods that would reappear if sold when i restarted the game so i just kept selling them and ended up with thousands of Gold lol, that was cool.
