When you have a NiAlphaProperty on an object, all parts of the texture with transparency will be transparent. Remove the alpha from where you don't want it, and then alter the texture for the cloth sttrips appearance.

ouch. did you use shades of grey, or did you use black and white? Shades of grey would usually cause this as pure black is one state and pure white is the other.

ub3rman123: are you saying to delete the portion of the alpha all together in the areas that are supposed to be completely opaque?

I feel greatly exceeded in graphics when I try to follow your conversation. At the same time it is not hard. I have not had much time this week between Deus Ex III and my job.

I give you the link to the full archive will be simpler: megaupload

Finally had a chance to look at what you had put on the site. Do you have the original files you used to create the .dds files? Having the original files would make life a lot easier when it comes to creating the alpha channel.

Grab this and load it into game and let me know what you think. It should be ok, as the original was ok. I did edit the nif in nifskope to make sure that the alpha was enabled and tested on my system to be sure it appears correctly.
