Keirgarth
Something about that pic doesn't look right. Either the angle makes it look strange, the armor is a bit large, or the horse's legs are too short :) Nice work other than that though. Tell Sita good job. Tell Sita good job. yeah i know, its the angle, trust me it looks great ingame, and the legs are short since there's some cloth hanging, but thats good imo. Wraithofdoom
some more of the horned version. By the way, the name of the horse is something i gave it, not the official name. Now we only need someone willing to make the armor for the character. Edited August 28, 2011 by Wraithofdoom
Keirgarth
I can see where the angle makes the difference, :) Glad to see such nice work for the game. Just a thought though, the original pics that I saw showed the cloth tattered hanging from the horse. Can your friend put in transparency maps for the image to replicate that? Keirgarth
Transparency map might be the wrong term for this game, hehe, ask him about alpha channels to make the material look tattered on the sides to simulate old torn cloth. :)
Wraithofdoom
well i asked him but he said he couldnt do it only qoute: I can not do this, unfortunately, only normal maps. I dont know if he can do alpha channels, i know what you mean looking at the pic i posted, but i dont think that is possible in oblivion,, though i might be wrong, overall im happy with these horse, it has some minor issues that you will realize if you look really close in the pics, but its pretty damn nice, even if i would like an exact copy of the horse i posted i realize this might be too hard or not to anybodies liking, for instance, how would you animate the clothes when the horse rides ?. He is still waiting on this permission. Help with the character's armor is apreciated from any modder. That way the model will be transparent where it is in the texture file.
