Hey,

I'm sure someone has thought of this but, i just wanted to share it cus i think it's a cool idea.

Wouldn't it be cool...if someone had made a great game like morrowind ,but allowed online gaming and it was free!! The only question is...how to pay for the servers to run?? well...what if we ran adds in the loading screens...have some beer or soft drink company sponser drinks in the pub..have posters or something up of the company...airline sponser air transportation or something....you could apply this to everything..i think people would put up with looking at adds while the game is loading...who cares that the pub is the "Pepsi Club" or something...i know i wouldn't...just think...an everquest that's free!!!

I think your head has bumped into the stratosphere.

Part of the beauty of Morrowind, one of the reasons I have kept playing all this time, is its RPG singleplayer oppurtunities. Most multiplayer RPG's tend to be turn-based combat and play style, which, in my opinion, really stinks. But if you have the time and initiative to make a new game (Modifying Morrowind to be multiplayer is illegal) then go for it!

Oh sure it would be great. But good luck finding someone willing to do all the work out of kindness and miss the opportunity for more profit. Like it or not, games cost money to produce. Server costs are only a small part of it, you've got to get that game made. Then get it to a large audience that will play it often, or your advertisers won't waste any money on it.

But... if you find a way to do it, I'm sure it will be fun.

Because of many many thinks morrowind will never be multiplayer as you want it.

But what SHOULD be made is the opportunity for 2 people to play on Lan to take a PVP fight in the arena.

That way friends arguing whos the best could settle things in a more direct way <_<
