Zinnia Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 I'm hoping someone might have a trick to resolve this. I'm doing the stupid Skingrad recommendation quest for the Mage's guild, and I just cannot get the elf in the cave to follow me. I can't get him to leave on his own either. He just stands there stupidly after the zombies are cleared out. I'm frustrated as I have finished all the other quests in that group to get into the arcane university. I tried entering a code into the console to force the quest to end, but nothing happened. Is there anything else I can try? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nah, that's not it. This is after he agreed to follow me out. I've already got the dialog options "follow me" and "wait here". He's gone through the whole speel about going back to Skingrad together. David Brasher Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Try ditching him and going to Skingrad alone. Be sure to fast travel. That makes followers teleport to catch up. It just might work. If your game is totally glitched, then you might need to find the console codes to bypass the last stages of the quest. It wouldn't really be cheating because you have already done the hard part of the quest where you could possibly get lost or get killed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
