Edit: I guess my Topic Title was too long and it cut off the word Correctly. And I can't edit my Topic Title. Anyway here's my problem that I am having.

I am having issue in getting this mod to work. I download first Modular Beautiful People 2ch-Edition v1.4a Full (MBP) from Mediafire all four parts. The mod Modular Beautiful People 2ch-Edition v1.4a Full was a omod when I finished extracting the four file together. I used omod manger to extract the files to make it a non omod (I did this before with another race mod and never gave me a problem). I put Modular Beautiful People 2ch-Edition v1.4a Full in my data folder and then I download MBP Plus Plus 094a Full all two parts and I put it in my data folder again and then I also download x117Race 077 Full, I also installed that too. Then I went into the CS and that's where I run into the problem. I check mark Oblivion.esm, Beautiful People 2ch-Ed.esm and also x117race.esm. Then I check under races and check out the Lop-ears Elf mini and this is what the race looked like in the CS

Some other races also have black skin or has the same problem as the Lop-ears Elf mini race. The Lop-ears Elf (this is not the mini race) does show up correct the skin and the eyes and mouth are correctly in place unlike the other races. The reason I download this mod was for the Lop-ears Elf mini and I wanted to use the save game Amy that came with x117Race 077 Full. I download other race mods before and even tweak them myself, But I can't not get this mod to work. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem that I am having?

Do the races look like that in-game as well or only in the CS? What about Blender, Maya, or 3DSMax?

Is your Oblivion install updated to 1.2.0146?

One thing you could try as it appears to be a rigging issue is double check to make sure the mod didn't have a skeleton (located at: \meshes\characters\_male\skeleton.nif) hidden in it somewhere, and if it didn't you could try installing Coronerras Maximum Compatibility Skeletons though I feel Coronerras is a long shot.

I had the same problem when I used the CS to try to make CM followers from the x117 race. I started a thread on it and one of the many knowledgeable forum members said that I needed to "weight my vertices". Well, I didn't know what a "vertice" was let alone how to go about weighting it so I let the matter drop. I would be most interested in hearing if someone had a doable solution to this.

The mod was not really broken. I check in-game and all the races from MBP was in working order. No black skin and all there eyes and mouth was in the right place that it should be. Rabbit 51 I found a post in this forum http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/211622-some-japanese-mod-issues/ and one person said to check in CS full body not just the head and it worked for me. I guess the head of the mini Lop race does not scale good when looking at her head only. I do not know what it means to "weight vertices" either. I hope this helps. Anyway thanks for all of your answer.
