Conversely, the previous one looked more user friendly and faster to move around. If you just hit the magnifying glass in the search box... Thank you for the tip. I am using the up-to-date version of Firefox on Windows 7 64bit. Since the upgrade, the forum has been slow and buggy getting errors or just not being able to connect to the page. I have been able to make the connection at times, but it is unreliable at best. I have downloaded some files to see how that is working, and am not liking the way that the download opens a new full sized tab instead of the way the previous setup did a small window for the commercial then download. I have figured out how to download bypassing the commercial, but I won't mention it here just in case I shouldn't be doing it :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
crippknottick Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 I have a few minor complaints. The orange-cream popsicle summer theme has to be changed to something much darker or at least bolder. White text on soft orange is kind of hard to read unless focusing well on it at least for me. If there is a theme system it must be implemented. The 'window inside a window' effect for choosing a server to download from is very unappealing ,and in the only way I can describe it is "clobbersome". The interface should take advantage of screen real estate and not scrunch everything into a narrow pipe. This seems to be a popular trend lately in web design. DrakenGuard Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 When adding a new file since the changes were implimented, I see all he comments on mods have been disablied (showing a -01 Comment thing) hence no body is able to leave comments. And I see no option to enable comments as I do enjoy the feedback I get for my work aswell overview thre comments on the verious other files I browse Could you care to fix this bug, please? Leo77 Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 I'm still finding only donwsides and no uppersides of the new design :( . e.g. new tracking centre shows only latest file uploads, not the other information making the file tracking almost useless.And the function to show changes in the last 1,2,3.... days is absent too.
