Darkness problem in Dead Money...

OK. Every time I start the DLC Dead money the screen becomes really hard to see. It's as if it's a really dark night even at 11 AM game time. The colors are also washed out and dull. I thought at first it was supposed to be that way but I looked on Youtube walk through and found it was supposed to be way brighter. It doesn't matter if indoors or out. The light level is really dim. I tried restarting and turning any light modification mods I had off to no avail. So is there any console command to fix this?

 

Also. The screen is flickering slightly like the old movie effect. And it almost appears to be in black and white. The HUD, and compass and other non environment stuff is at the correct brightness.

 

Is there a reset for all the normal color and brightness settings?

Azrael120782: Oh really? OK it is really dark so I figured it was a glitch. Looks like a black and white movie almost. I guess it makes sense and it makes it a challenge to find the radios before you esplode!

 

Yeah. I just looked on Youtube and mine doesn't look like that. It's got almost no color. No red sky just B&W with the hud and pipboy colors normal. Do you know of any console commands for color and brightness? I searched and found none.

Yes :) they probably burst into flame :)

 

Since the color of my HUD and pip boy are working I wonder if I can re adjust the outside color of the world back to normal.

Well I got it a little brighter but on my game it's definitely black and white except for the HUD and pip boy. And I just realized seeing the color red is important in this DLC :)

 

Any ideas?

 

Also messed with the load order and put Dead money last in the ESM list and still the same.
