Cannot use containers without the console.

Hi, whenever i try to click anything container or menu related for example in a shop the menu will close instead of putting an item in/buying/selling/removing an item from a container. I've searched for a solution to this but the only advice i've seen is to change the controls setup, i have already tried resetting my controls to the default and various combinations but nothing is working. The problem is not in the main menu or inventory menu at all and by opening the console i can use shops and containers as normal and simply close the console after i've done what i need to do. What could be causing this problem? I use the BTmod but i'm not sure if that's got anything to do with it. Any help appreciated, thanks.

 

Sometimes i also get an unresponsive menu such as when exiting prison i cannot click to continue on the 'stats decreased' button and must use the console to exit the game as the main menu also stops responding to mouse clicks. I've had the same menu trouble using a mod that involves navigating a menu but the problem was there long before the mod was.

That's an odd one. I don't see anything in there that should cause that problem... have you changed the game field of view at all?

Nope, nothing like that :S It's been going on since i installed the game and changed the controls to incoporate my mouse. Very strange.

Maybe reset your mouse controls back to default??

I've tried resetting both the keyboard and the mouse controls to the default. Even pressing spacebar when the controls are default doesn't work to remove/put items in.

That is just bizarre. Do you have a US keyboard? Can you remap the 'select' or 'action' key, whatever its called, to something else, and make it work?
