Dastardlybob
During character creation or the showracemenu command I can't change my character's skin tone. Sliding the complexion bar also doesn't change my character's skin color. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I turned something off in the ini but I don't know what. Any ideas? EDIT: Just thought I'd mention up here that its ALL races vanilla or custom. Edited August 28, 2011 by Dastardlybob
Hickory
Are you using a custom race?

Hickory
Well, since you said 'Maybe I turned something off in the ini', I suggest you delete your oblivion.ini and restart the game from the launcher. Be sure to restart from the launcher to have Oblivion re-initialise your hardware.
Dastardlybob
All right I'll try it. Not sure why I didn't think of this myself. :wallbash: I'll update back if it works or not. Hope it will. EDIT: It works! I feel fairly stupid for not thinking of doing that fix Hickory...Strange though as my oblivion ini never let me actually save any changed settings because it thought I had it opened elsewhere. Great. If you try to edit the ini while the game is running (windowed mode?), that might explain why it complained it was opened elsewhere. It lets me change it now though. For some reason if I try to edit it, it keeps me from changing my character's skin tones. Not sure if that is supposed to happen.
