Akaossin
Ok, so I downloaded this thing to use mods for Fallout 3. Installed perfectly fine. But when I tried to run it, it tells me its unable to get write permissions for ...\Fallout3\Data, and states that the readme will give me the solution. It does not. How do I fix this? If someone could give me a detailed explanation, I would be very grateful. Thanks. Akaossin.
phoneyLogic
Did you install the game to its default location? Are you using Win7 or Vista?
Akaossin
Running Windows 7, The game itself has been installed as it would be in the default folder, Program Files (x86). Edit; The game itself works without a problem, it's the mod user thing that I'm trying to get to work. Edited August 28, 2011 by Akaossin

phoneyLogic
It will be best to remove and reinstall FO3, since running it from the default location will cause lots of trouble. luthienanarion
OR, you could just change the permissions for that folder. They are not set in stone.
Akaossin
In case you never saw, I found the issue. Turns out my admin control user account on my windows wasn't added to permissions. Solved. Thanks though.
