Lore-friendly Pip-Boy 3000 mod? Picture heavily related.

Why hasn't there been a mod for the Pip-Boy 3000 which is based upon the image below yet? Could be 4096x4096 and completely interactive. It's literally lore-friendly to boot! Glad for the CR HD mod also, even though I haven't even worn the armour yet.

On the same arm, with the same dimensions, same placement and in the same game no less? I think it is safe to say that is a pip boy friend.

Unlikely since that NCR trooper would not have been a vault dweller.

It is even safer to say that it could be the Courier. Or possibly not supposed to be a character, but just cool picture. It could be just a Ranger, one not affiliated with the NCR at all too. Also you could say that it is not a NCR Ranger, because he has the extra tubes on his helmet.

It's not a pipboy. lol There's a huge size difference between that pouch and a pipboy!

If you just put the screen, buttons, and other stuff there, it would be like a Pip-boy in a pouch.

Also, the pip-boy uses biometric seals to attach to the arm of the user, correct? That pouch or whatever is on top of the armor and is bound using leather straps. This would result in the pip-boy being unable to monitor the user's vitals and would effectively make it little more than decoration.

It could be a data-pad, a case for a pack of cigarettes, or a notepad for that matter. But I'm afraid it's not a pip-boy. OH! That guy could be Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who and Torchwood! Take a reaaaaaally close look at that guy's arm band and then look at Jack's Vortex Manipulator Wristband.

Sure, Jack's has one strap, but those can be switched after so much time of wear and tear. XD

A leather casing over the pip-boy WOULD look lovely, all the same. Something to go over the pip-boy, so long as it comes off when you bring it up.

Or...maybe...that Ranger is River?
