CommanderCrazy
So how, then, can they fit all of this stuff on one measly X360 disc? they would have had to have cut corners somewhere.

Compressed sounds... Up to them really. The major difference with PC is compression technology. The 360 isn't going to have windows(or mac) based programs to help with decompression. The worldspace is about the same size as Cyrodiil, if not a bit smaller. And remember Skyrim will be on a dual-layer DVD; Oblivion fit on only a single layer. JimboUK
There is always disk installation. If it hasn't already been mentioned. 2 disk with 1 disk to install to the hard drive. Unless you're still stuck with the original 20gb HDD.Which is why I wouldn't work. What would they do, put a label on the game that says you have to have a 120 gig hard-drive in order to play?So many people would be pissed.120gb? You "can" do it with a 20gb hdd. Just most people have it filled with other content. You can download whole games now via xbox live. No excuses. They made it one disk because of people who will whine about how they had to take a disk out. Personally I'd rather not have to put it in. Some don't have a HDD at all, the Arcade version only had a memory card. So in other words, all that big exploration theyve been on about is all gonna be in recycled areas.Great. Just Cause 2 has a massive play area and environments that vary from Snow capped mountain areas, through jungles and onto deserts and that fit on one disk. Games with multiple disks usually have a huge amount of spoken dialogue and FMV video, Bethesda tend not to use much video and their dialogue tends to be straight to the point.
