Topster88
Sheogorath? Obviously they probably make make him/her appear in person, but to have Sheo mention things that he/she did in Oblivion would be an awesome easter egg

Considering that Skyrim is supposed to take place 200 years after the daedra attack...
Alcrin
Don't get excited. It will definitely be retconned.

AltreU
If I remember correctly, the hero in Oblivion only holds that title until Sheogorath can return. I hadn't noticed it until I played the quest line again a couple of months ago, but it's something along those lines. I could be completely wrong, though, and just wish that Sheogorath would come back.

Nope, the hero is Sheogorath, Jyggalag mentions that they might 'grow to their station', which could mean that the mortal might lose their mortal self and appear exactly as Sheogorath did. Even if they don't reference Shivering Isles, I wouldn't call it retconned. Probably just ambiguous. :whistling:
Subvert5
Nope, the hero is Sheogorath, Jyggalag mentions that they might 'grow to their station', which could mean that the mortal might lose their mortal self and appear exactly as Sheogorath did. Pretty much what I was gonna say. Daedric Lord seems like a pretty stationary position, and I would think that anyone who is to adopt one of those positions would lose their mortal ability to adapt/grow/change. So, in other words, you wouldn't be gaining the position as a Daedric Prince as much as the position is gaining YOU. :P Edited August 29, 2011 by Subvert5
AltreU
Ok, I thought it was something along those lines. I know that Sheogorath was supposed to "come back" somehow, which I'm happy about. Sheogorath is my favorite character in the series. He's got a Scottish accent (I'm of Scottish descendant) and he's fun.
marharth
Pretty sure your not longer mortal once you become a deadric lord. So I would say that the PC would have to be Sherogortath. We don't even know what daedric lords will be in the game, so he/she may not appear at all. Not going to bother to correct that spelling either.
