I don't think there's anything like that, but if there is, point it to me please.

Idea is like that. You can engage in fight between to factions for fun purpose and exp.

How I see this: You open menu/talk with npc, choose a specific arena-like-area (city ruins, fields with cliffs and barricades/whatever unless it's a plain fields), choose factions who gonna fight (humans, mutants, ghouls and similar), choose their difficulty (this would be level and equip I guess) and perhaps something else. You pick a faction you gonna fight for and then they rumble. Your faction probably should have less npc than opposite. Also killed npcs will respawn in some time or instantly, so basically this would be an endless fight.

However. There should be no lootable items and no karma/reputation change. Only experience can be earned. I wouldn't mind using my own ammunition on such fields, but maybe some helpful stuff can be given with and option. Also exp rewards probably should be lower than for normal kills. Maybe some side heal provided.

Player can leave arena in any time via item or some sort of trigger.

I've been trying Warzones mod by MGE but its hardly comes close enough to my desires, since its more a loot field with a lot rep affection and zerg rushing npcs from both sides.

Nobody intrigued at all? I could even try to participate myself in development, but I have zero knowledge of scripts and never tried working with landscape before (I can try to tho.). I'm just fond of group fights in FNV but feeling like game don't have enough.

I was thinking about making a urban battlefield for my next mod. Right now I am caught up making my Hazycreek City mod. I could make a cityscape (with LOD) pretty quickly, but that is probably the most I could offer at the moment. Someone else (you or otherwise) would have to make the encounters and navmesh, as I would rather not be working fully on 2 mods at once.

 

Also, I think that maybe the dead bodies can only be looted for a chance of ammo and repair kits. Make the drop chance low enough to make it only sufficient to keep fighting instead of a loot fest.

This could be useful for start, but I thought about more areas. Probably basic areas can be ripped off with some modifications (like alternative goodsprings, primm etc).

About ammo/stuff. Maybe 2 alternative ways. 1. you may go in with your own armor/ammo/supply and receive full exp for kills. 2. you strip all your stuff and receive new for your choice. Maybe 2 different weapons, ammo, grenades, stimpacks. You would receive some ammo for kills so it should balance itself. But you gain less exp for kills.

At last there could be alternative setups such as deathmatch, kill boss, attack&defend teams etc. I really like FNV team mass action and this makes me curious why nobody wants to pick up this idea.

This would be a great addition to The Thorn. The Thorn sucked! :P

Really nice idea: I remember playing a mod like this for Oblivion, but it had lots of problems. When it worked, it was my favourite mod!

I'd like to help out, but I'm no good at landscaping or scripting, pretty much only face design and dialogue creation/editing. :(
