firsTraveler
What's the best mod manager? I used FOMM in Fallout 3 and was completely satisfied. But I've seen a number of posts in various places that FOMM isn't working with F:NV. Is this true? If not FOMM, what should I try? Thank you

bigcrazewolf
FOMM is what you need, works fine enough for me.
scrivener07
Easiest > Fallout Mod ManagerBest > Wrye Flash I use both. I like to sort my load order with FOMM because it has and easier drag and drop feature and a small handfull of .omod installers. For everything else I use Wrye Flash. I can manage multiple game save profiles, detect conflicts, bashed patches, ini edits, and best of all BAIN installers for a mean, lean, and clean data folder. It is extremely easy to convert almost any mod into a BAIN installer. Idk why more people dont do it. Bottom line is get both and use FOMM until you get more and more comfortable with Wrye Flash. After Thought: No one should ever just be blindly dropping files into their data directory. ALWAYS use an installer of some sorts and it will save you from a thousand headaches. :wallbash: Good luck and let me know if its time to write a crash course for these programs.
