semperfijoe
I downloaded Honest Hearts off of steam. As soon as it was download I tried to launch the game and got message saying that an update needed to be downloaded. I left my computer alone came back and the update was down but when I clicked on "ok" I got a message saying something about steam servers were down. When I tried to play the game I went to the Northern Passage. At the entrance to the cave I see a red diamond with a white exclamation mark in the center. When I try to enter I am simply turned around facing the Strip. I exited the game and it started another download in Steam. The download finished but I still have the same problem. I think the download might of gotten corrupted but I don't want to have to pay for it again. Any suggestions?
Sunnie
if you purchased the DLC, you will never have to purchase it again (unless you want to on a different platform). Have Steam verify your files cache, because what you are describing is a missing mesh (which could be due to a missing BSA).

semperfijoe
I've done that twice. Each time it comes back saying that every thing is good, then Steam starts another download. The first time it didn't help any. I'm letting it download this time to see if maybe something happened the first time that I didn't see.
Iv000
Go to Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\DataAnd Delete HonesHearts - main.bsa, HonestHearts - sound.bsa and HonesHearts.esmThen let Steam re download it. If it's still not working try verifying the game cache again.
semperfijoe
before I had a chance to do that Steam downloaded another update, it works fine now. Not sure what happened but hey it works so that's all the matters right? :-D
